I finally got my Anne Boleyn pictures uploaded! I have a ton that I love so narrowing them down to only 4 to post isn’t going to cut it.
Last night I dreamt that Ash and I went to Anime Expo. We’re heading into this really cool convention center (not where it actually is, or was) and the weather is great and we’re talking about how nice it is to be back at Anime Expo and how much it’s changed. Well we get lost and end up just wandering into the con without getting our badges and it’s more like an expo than a game con and it looks super cool. This security guy stops us because the floor isn’t actually open yet and we tell him we got lost, so he leads us around to the badge pick-up.
Well at some point I run into my uncle and cousin in a side room with a stage and they’re cutting up the Shrek dragon I just made. I’m like, well that’s weird, and then turn around and some guy steps on the back of my Anne dress. It pulls the whole dress down! But I had my corset and everything underneath it. I was so pissed off, I made him lace the dress back up for me right then and there. And then I took off running (in the dream, running in the dress was really fun, fabric floating everywhere). I ended up running outside and it was like a fairytale garden.
That’s all I remember. I have weird dreams.
But, I told that story because I had so much fun wearing Anne in the dream, I’m definitely going to wear her to Midsouthcon. I need to go back and reinforce the skirt seam where it tore at Dragoncon (is that where that part of the dream came from?), but that’s about it. I’ll talk more about Midsouthcon in a coming post.
Anyway, I’m very pleased with how these pics came out. I was so bummed by my Dragoncon pics because my belt piece was twisted in every single standing photo, and I didn’t like how my hair looked. So yay pics I’m happy with!
